Joe Hausner is the founder and owner of Moral Suasion, a beverage and restaurant consulting company.  

Joe has been in the bar and restaurant industry for over 20 years; here in Houston, Austin and San Antonio.  He has worked across a spectrum of concepts from bars and night clubs in Austin to fine dining establishments in Houston.  He got his start in chain restaurants and became a corporate trainer.  After moving into bartending, Joe became a lover of fine wines, great spirits, and beers. He has been studying spirits since 2010 when he achieved the Specialist of Spirits Certification from the Society of Wine Educators. Joe has achieved his Certified Sommelier from the Court of Master Sommeliers.  He was nominated for Houston’s best bartender in 2013 and 2014. He has bartended and managed at restaurants here in Houston, such as Eddie V’s City Center, Vallone’s, and Eleven/Eleven to name a few. His latest consulting projects were at Porters in College Station at the new Century Square Development next to Texas A & M University, and a new restaurant group Tressie’s in Magnolia, TX.
