Moral Suasion

A political and economic term keyed around the turn of the 20th century. It is the idea of putting a moral compass on decisions,and using your ideals for the betterment of the whole. Most notably associated with The League of Nations and The Temperance Movement.

Leading up to, and during prohibition, the term took on a new meaning as it has the dubious distinction of being a delicious libation.

Unfortunately, the original recipe has been lost to time.
